I shouldn't laugh

But I just about fell out of my chair.

DH likes to listen to AM talk radio. One of the shows has a weekly call in segment about technology. It usually consists of old or stupid people who don't know to install anti-virus software, etc. Today though, a woman called in because her computer kept giving her a message. It said, "Plug-in installation required." She would click ok, then it would say install manually. The woman then stopped talking, and the tech guy said, "okaaaaay." She then replies, "I don't have anything else to plug in!"

Oh yes, she did. I read stories about this kind of thing. You know, the lady who puts her CC in the disc drive, or the one who used the CD drive as a cup holder. This is my first experience, indirect as it was, with a person who was so technologically illiterate that she was looking for a chord and a plug!

I laughed so hard my stomach hurt. The tech guy tried to explain it to her, but I am quite sure she is still completely lost.
