I am a teacher and I love back to school shopping. I still buy myself a new outfit (or at least a new piece) for the first day of school. I am also addicted to school supplies. Oh how I love new pens!
Last night I was in my office to get something, and I saw the garment bag with the fabulous clothes form the LImited I got while my mom was here. I opened it just to pet them for a minute. I get to wear them in just a few more weeks! I have to get a couple of the pants hemmed, but I was waiting until the week after next to take them in. I have this crazy hope that I might have lost enough weight to get them in a smaller size. At this point that's doubtful, but a girl can dream.
On a related note, the Limited is my new favorite store. They give me a discount for being a teacher, they offer free hemming on regularly priced pants, and the service has been fabulous every time I've been in there. Oh, and their sales are amazing! I think I may treat myself to a trip to the teacher supply store in the next week or so.

I love school supply shopping!! You are so not alone...I was even talking about this with the medical residents at my rotation site this week. We all got excited over Lisa Frank folders and new pencils! =-)
ReplyDeleteI used to love shopping for school supplies, so I'm sure it must be so much fun to do it as a teacher! I haven't shopped at the Limited in a very long time-actually, I've been avoiding the mall to save money:) I'll have to check it out again when I've been frugal for a little while.
