Cards Game

We went to the Cardinals game last night. What a perfect night for baseball. It was an early start, 6:15, which we didn't realize when we were planning initially. Thank goodness DH called me at lunch time to tell me. Ooops.

When we arrived, it was 83 degrees, not a cloud in the sky, and a breeze was blowing. We sat in the Redbird Club which is always fun. Those seats are such a treat. You have a good view of the game, and the inside area is really nice. They have some fod you can't get in the rest of the stadium, and on days that are really hot or cold, it is climate controlled.

Back to last night. It was a great game. My dad's birthday was June 30, so I e-mailed in a Happy Birthday message to the team, and they put it on the scoreboard in the 4th inning! (I have a better picture of this that I cropped and blew up, but you get the idea.)

While I still miss the old stadium, the views from the new one are really beautiful.



The night ended as a win for the Cardinals, so Fredbird celebrated.
